Recently, we collected a love offering for our missionary family, the Aysons, in the Philippines due to tremendous flooding they are experiencing from multiple typhoons and tropical cyclones.
Today, the Aysons posted an update:
“This is the 4th tropical cyclone since I posted about Typhoon Enteng. Then came #Ferdie, #Gener, and now #Helen. They were not supposed to be strong but the monsoon season is making them shed more rains than we can imagine. Pitiful to see Filipinos even in metro areas fight to stay dry or stay afloat. We have a couple of families who have not been to church because their houses were isolated by flooded streets.
We as a family and our church location are still okay. Surprisingly, Sundays were mostly without rain, then comes Monday and classes will be cancelled.
Please continue to pray for our whole country.
Also, we thank you for sending help to our people. We have extended these to 77 families and would be giving out rice and goods again to around 80 families including our village missions this Sunday… They say thank you for caring!
To God be the glory!”
