Offering for Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief

This Sunday, we will take up a special offering to be donated to Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief to benefit relief efforts in areas that were devastated by Hurricane Helene. Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief is at First Baptist Church, Mt. Vernon, GA providing meals and water. They have given out 65,664 bottles of water (38 pallets) and given out 2,539 meals since Sunday morning and will continue providing meals and water in the wake of this tragedy. Please continue praying for all who were in the path of this storm as well as all of the rescue and relief workers who are providing aid. Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams from several states have activated more than 20 response sites across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia.
