If you missed Bro. Brandon’s Easter message in The Tensas Gazette this week, I am sharing it here:
I am reminded often, especially around Easter, of an old Gold City song. The first verse starts “You can plant some flowers on the grave where they laid ole Buddha down; Hear Muhammad’s children pray to his bones in the ground; but journey to Jerusalem to a graveyard empty there; and look for Jesus body but there ain’t no body there.” This is really what sets Christianity apart from all other world religions. Jesus is the “I AM.” He is the God who created all things. Of Him, by Him and for Him were all things made and without Him there is nothing. He is God! Only God in flesh could become the perfect sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world! Only the blood of almighty God could wash away the stain of sin from humanity! And Jesus is the only name under heaven whereby men might be saved! He is high and lifted up! He won victory over death, and He graciously extends that victory to all who will make Him Lord of their life! Our Hope is not dead and buried, He is ALIVE and seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven! Praise Him, for the is no one like Him!
